A Practical Platform – Igniting Innovation

The FPGA Open 2025 design contest bridges theory and hands-on practice, offering university and college students in Da Nang direct exposure to advanced digital circuit design on FPGA platforms.

Participants will have access to development boards, tools like Gowin Software, ModelSim, and Logic Analyzers, and compete across three challenging rounds with total prizes valued at tens of millions of VND.

Agenda:

  • Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between DSAC, Gowin Semiconductor, and sponsors including Willas, Onekiwi, and LECI
  • Official introduction of the FPGA Design Competition
  • Announcement of competition rules, schedule, and categories
  • Presentation of FPGA teaching materials to local universities and colleges

Prize Structure:

  • First Prize: 20,000,000 VND
  • Second Prize: 10,000,000 VND
  • Three Third Prizes: 5,000,000 VND each

Training Program – Bridging Academia and Application

From May 20 to 23, 2025, a hands-on FPGA design training course will be held for students and instructors, led by experts from Gowin and Onekiwi Technology. A certificate of completion will be awarded.

  • FPGA Application Development Process
  • Simulation and Design using Gowin & ModelSim
  • Using the Gowin Logic Analyzer
  • Designing Sequential Logic Counters
