The Fusion UV DRC Series is purpose-built for curing inks and coatings on wire, cable, and other continuous linear products. Featuring C6 and C10 models, this series is optimized for high-speed inkjet marking and wire jacketing applications, providing precise and efficient curing performance in demanding production environments.
Each system combines a 6-inch or 10-inch microwave-powered irradiator with a specialized light shield to create a highly concentrated elliptical UV curing zone around the moving wire or cable. This geometry maximizes UV exposure and acceleration of the curing process while helping to maintain product quality and marking durability.
The light shield features a half-elliptical reflector, which—when paired with the standard irradiator reflector—forms a complete ellipse with the bulb positioned at the focal point. The wire or cable passes through a shield opening designed to ensure 360° curing coverage on small-diameter wire and substantial curing area on larger cable surfaces.
A combined push-pull cooling system utilizes both lamp and exhaust blowers to maintain stable operating temperature while preventing fumes or volatile compounds from entering the workspace.
