Dymax 2022-MW is a high-performance, multi-functional adhesive, encapsulant, and coating specifically developed for wearable medical electronic devices. Engineered with ultra-low water absorption (0.5%), it effectively minimizes moisture ingress, ensuring long-term reliability of electronic components in close contact with the skin.
Formulated without IBOA and TPO, two substances of concern for skin sensitization, this product is fully compliant with ISO 10993-5 cytotoxicity standards, making it ideal for devices worn on the skin for extended periods.
Dymax 2022-MW is recommended for use in RFID chip encapsulation, sensor housing assemblies, and single- or multi-use wearable medical devices. It offers strong adhesion to stainless steel, aluminum, glass, and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
