Dymax 2103-MW-UR is a high-performance light-curable adhesive engineered for medical wearable device assembly, especially in applications where skin sensitivity is a key concern. Formulated without H317 monomers (including IBOA), this product reduces the risk of skin sensitization.
It meets ISO 10993-5 Cytotoxicity, ISO 10993-23 Intracutaneous Irritation, and ISO 10993-10 Sensitization standards, ensuring its biocompatibility for skin-contacting devices. It is compatible with plastic and metal substrates, and cures rapidly using broad-spectrum UV light or LED sources at 365 nm, 385 nm, or 405 nm.
Incorporating Ultra-Red fluorescing technology, the adhesive fluoresces bright red under 365 nm black light, providing clear visibility against materials like PVC that naturally fluoresce blue. This feature enhances post-cure visual inspection and quality assurance.
