Dymax 9801 is a low-shrinkage optical adhesive designed for camera modules, LiDAR, and active alignment applications in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates and delivers outstanding moisture and thermal cycling resistance, making it ideal for demanding optical assemblies.
This one-component adhesive cures quickly with LED or UV/Visible light and includes secondary heat-curing capability for shaded or low-light-access areas. Its low-shrinkage formulation helps maintain precise optical alignment during and after the curing process.
Recommended substrates include LCP, PCB, PPS, FPC, CAP, PS, FR-4 boards, and glass. The product is supplied in a cold-shipped, cold-stored format (1°C to 5°C) to preserve its formulation and performance.
