Dymax GA-140 is a form-in-place (FIP) and cure-in-place (CIP) gasketing resin developed for fuel cells, automotive door handles, appliance housings, and critical electronic assemblies where a soft, tack-free, low-outgassing, flexible gasket with compression set is required.
GA-140 provides strong adhesion to nylon and plastic surfaces. Additionally, FIP gaskets made with GA-140 may help improve battery life and increase reliability of electronic devices.
The resin can be dispensed into intricate and complex shapes, with in-line curing enabling faster production, increased throughput, and reduced inventories. The product contains no nonreactive solvents and cures in seconds under UV/Visible light, resulting in faster processing and lower assembly costs.
When used with Dymax UV curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, or flood lamps, it provides optimal cure speed and depth, maximizing production efficiency.
