Medical Adhesive for Plastics and Metals with Secondary Heat Cure Capability
Dymax MD 1128A-M is a light-curable adhesive formulated for medical device assembly, featuring Multi-Cure® technology. It cures in seconds upon exposure to UV or LED light and includes a secondary heat-cure capability to ensure full cure in shadowed areas.
The material is impact-resistant and fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm), enabling easy in-line inspection. It bonds reliably to a wide range of substrates including stainless steel, aluminum, glass, ABS, PA, PU, and nickel-titanium alloys (e.g., Nitinol). The adhesive meets various ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards, making it safe for medical applications.
