Dymax MD 1128A-M-VT cures in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light. This high-performance adhesive rapidly bonds both flexible and rigid plastics typically used in the assembly of medical devices, such as reservoirs, tube sets, and fittings.
The formulation also features Multi-Cure® technology, enabling a secondary heat cure for applications where shadowed areas exist and light penetration is limited. The material offers excellent impact resistance and fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm) for easy visual inspection during production.
Bondable substrates: Stainless steel, aluminum, glass, NiTi, PC, and PMMA
Applications: Reservoirs, IV sets, tube fittings, and general disposable medical assemblies
MD 1128A-M-VT is fully compliant with RoHS 2015/863/EU and meets ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards.
