Dymax MD 1172-M-UR is a light-curable, flexible adhesive designed for high-speed bonding of COC, COP, and a wide range of medical-grade plastics commonly used in medical device manufacturing. This adhesive is ideal for applications such as:
- In vitro diagnostics (IVD)
- Reservoir and transducer assembly
- Medical-grade encapsulation and potting
The product features Ultra-Red fluorescing technology, emitting a bright red fluorescence under 365 nm black light, making bond-line inspection fast and easy. The red contrast is especially effective on plastics like PVC, which naturally fluoresce blue.
1172-M-UR bonds to a broad spectrum of substrates, including:
COC, COP, ABS, PC, PMMA, PVC, EVA, PA, PCTG, PEBA, PEI, PET, PETG, PS, PSU, SAN, TPU, ceramic, aluminum, and stainless steel.
