Dymax MD 1404-M-UR is a LED-optimized medical adhesive formulated for rapid curing at 385 nm or 405 nm wavelengths, ideal for high-precision needle and syringe bonding applications as well as other medical device assemblies. The adhesive features high viscosity and low-wicking behavior, enabling accurate and clean dispensing without excessive flow.
Incorporating Ultra-Red® fluorescing technology, the material glows bright red under low-intensity black light (365 nm), offering strong contrast on blue-fluorescing plastics like PVC. This facilitates easy post-cure inspection of bond lines and ensures high process reliability.
Bondable substrates include: stainless steel, polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), ABS, polyamide (PA), PMMA, and polypropylene (PP).
