Dymax MD 1405-M-VT-UR-SC is an LED-optimized medical-grade adhesive formulated to cure effectively with LED light at 385 nm or 405 nm. The product features Encompass technology, which integrates Dymax's patented See-Cure® color change and Ultra-Red® fluorescing technologies in a single formulation for easy visual verification of adhesive placement and post-cure quality inspection.
In its uncured state, the material appears bright blue, enabling quick confirmation of adhesive application. Upon exposure to sufficient light energy, the color transitions to colorless, indicating full cure. After curing, the material fluoresces bright red under black light (365 nm), contrasting strongly on plastics like PVC, which naturally fluoresce blue, greatly assisting in post-cure inspection of bond lines.
