LED-Curable Ultra-Red Fluorescing Medical Adhesive – Enhanced Bond-Line Visibility
Dymax MD 1501-M-UR is a high-performance medical-grade adhesive formulated with Ultra-Red fluorescing technology for enhanced visual inspection. It cures quickly under UV/Visible light or 405 nm LED light and is optimized for bonding lightly colored, translucent, or opaque substrates.
Once cured, the adhesive fluoresces bright red under low-intensity black light (365 nm), creating excellent contrast on plastics that naturally fluoresce blue (such as PVC). This unique property enables accurate inspection of the bond-line, improving quality control in medical device manufacturing.
