Dymax OP-29 is a UV-curable optical adhesive that forms tough, resilient bonds to glass, metals, and various plastics including polycarbonate and polyimide. The adhesive cures in seconds upon exposure to UV light, offering fast processing for high-efficiency applications.
OP-29 is available in two viscosities to suit different needs: a free-flowing liquid (OP-29) and a thixotropic gel (OP-29-GEL).
Recommended applications include tacking, bonding, sealing, and potting.
Dymax materials are solvent-free and cure upon exposure to light, helping to reduce processing costs while increasing throughput. When cured with Dymax UV spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems, the adhesive delivers optimal speed and performance. Dymax lamps offer the best balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
