The EIT UV Key is a compact, user-friendly UV radiometer designed specifically to measure and monitor ultraviolet (UV) energy in germicidal applications. Optimized for the UVC spectral range around 254 nm, the UV Key® provides reliable, real-time data on the intensity and dosage of UV used in disinfection systems. It is an ideal tool for validating the performance of UVC light sources in healthcare, pharmaceutical, HVAC, food safety, and water purification industries.
- Optimized for Germicidal Wavelengths: Measures energy in the UVC range (typically 254 nm), which is most effective for microbial inactivation. Also available in multi-band models to measure UVA (320–390 nm), UVB (280–320 nm), and UVV (395–445 nm) if needed.
- High Accuracy Measurement: Captures both irradiance (W/cm²) and energy density (J/cm²) with a typical accuracy of ±5%, ensuring reliable data for process validation and system maintenance.
- Digital LCD Display: A backlit, easy-to-read display shows peak UV intensity and total accumulated dose, making it easy to assess system output on-site.
- Compact & Rugged Design: The puck-shaped aluminum housing is durable and heat-resistant, allowing it to operate in high-temperature UV curing environments (up to 110°C for short durations).
- Battery-Powered and Portable: Internal lithium battery powers over 100,000 readings. The unit is fully portable and ideal for use in-field or in fixed installations.
- Data Logging (Optional in PowerMAP models): Advanced versions allow for profiling and data export for detailed process analysis.
