Fusion UV Power Supply Towers and Cabinets are engineered to support multi-lamp microwave-powered UV curing systems with reliable, centralized power distribution. These enclosures provide a single electrical integration point, simplifying installation, improving operational control, and enhancing overall system performance.
Excelitas offers two enclosure options: Power Supply Towers (open-frame) and Modular Power Supply Enclosure (MPE) Cabinets (closed-frame). Both solutions are designed to house multiple power supplies used across a wide range of Fusion UV curing platforms.
Power Supply Towers
Available in both wide and narrow configurations, Power Supply Towers support flexible combinations of up to five power supplies including:
LightHammer 10 Mark III
LightHammer 6 Mark II
P600M / P300
Semray CPS3
Optional features such as the Power Distribution Box enable unified control and protection of multiple power supplies through a single switch. An Emergency Stop (E-Stop) option provides rapid shutdown capability for enhanced operational safety.
Modular Power Supply Enclosure (MPE) Cabinets
The closed MPE cabinet solution provides:
Central access point for power and control management
Safe housing of 4–10 power supplies, depending on configuration
Support for advanced factory integration using PLC and touchscreen interfaces
Clean, filtered airflow for cooling and extended component lifetime
Improved operational reliability in dusty or harsh production environments
These cabinets can be configured for grouped or independent power control, including full integration of emergency shutoff functions.
Features
Cost-efficient installation for multi-lamp UV curing setups
Centralized control for improved UV curing quality and process consistency
Enhanced system reliability and longer power supply life
Clean and well-managed cooling airflow to maintain performance stability
Configurable control: local or remote, grouped or independent power operation
Streamlined maintenance with a single power management point
Applications
Ideal for factory-scale UV curing systems in:
Beverage can bottom rim coating
Optical fiber curing
Wide-web converting and coating lines
