Incure Epo-Weld HTCP-550 is a one-component, ultra-high temperature repair compound designed for bonding and restoring metal surfaces. Formulated with stainless steel and ceramic fillers in a water-based system, this metallic grey paste offers outstanding heat resistance and durability for industrial use.
Supplied by LECI, the authorized distributor of Incure in Vietnam, HTCP-550 is widely trusted in the automotive, aerospace, metalworking, and thermal equipment industries. It is especially effective for repair applications on stainless steel, cast aluminum, cast iron, and steel parts exposed to temperatures up to 1,100°C (2,000°F). Suitable for defect filling and structural repairs up to 10 mm (3/8 inch).

Recommended Cure Schedule:
- First Cure: 6 hours at 25°C
- Post Cure: 3 hours at 95°C (optionally with hydrophobic binder for improved moisture resistance)
Application Instructions: Apply with a putty knife, spatula, or caulking gun. Maintain a bond line under 250 microns (10 mils). For cross sections over 3.2 mm (1/8”), apply in layers to avoid blistering. Do not exceed 20 mm (3/4”) in total thickness.
Surface Preparation: Ensure bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease, corrosion, or loose particles. For porous materials like metal castings, pre-baking is recommended to eliminate absorbed contaminants. Smooth metals should be abrasive-blasted to 0.001” roughness for best results.
Storage and Handling: Store in original sealed containers at room temperature. After mixing, allow the material to settle in a container with double the volume to prevent outgassing. Leave for 24 hours before application if needed.
