Incure Epo-Weld HTCP-750 is a two-part, high-temperature repair and sealing compound designed for industrial applications where reliable bonding and thermal resistance are critical. This aluminium-filled, ceramic-reinforced, water-based thixotropic paste is formulated for the repair of joints and surface defects in stainless steel, carbon steel, cast aluminium, and cast iron components.
Exclusively distributed by LECI in Vietnam, HTCP-750 is widely used across automotive, aerospace, foundry, and power generation industries. With a service temperature of up to 750°C (1,385°F) and peak repair tolerance up to 1,400°F, this system is ideal for restoring and sealing defects in castings, boilers, manifolds, exhaust systems, and heat exchangers. The product cures to a mechanically tough, chemically resistant structure while maintaining slight flexibility to accommodate thermal stress.
Key Features:
- Two-part system (mix ratio 2:1)
- Water-based, aluminium-ceramic hybrid formulation
- High-temperature performance up to 750°C (continuous), 1,400°F (peak)
- Recommended for repairs up to 12.5 mm (1/2 inch) thick
- Suitable for steel, cast aluminum, iron, and heat-exposed assemblies
- Light grey paste consistency for ease of application and visual inspection
Uncured Properties:
Property | Value |
Color | Light Grey |
Form | Paste |
Components | 2 (Part A and B) |
Mix Ratio | 2:1 (by weight/volume) |
Specific Gravity | 1.80 |
Viscosity (relative) | 2 – 4 |
Application Thickness | Up to 12.5 mm |
Max Temperature Rating | 750°C / 1,400°F |
Application Instructions:
- Mix Part A and Part B thoroughly until uniform.
- For high-viscosity components, preheat both parts separately to 35°C–50°C (95°F–122°F) to ease mixing.
- Apply using a spatula, caulking gun, or putty knife.
- Maintain glue line thickness below 250 microns (10 mils).
- For joints between 3.2 mm and 6.4 mm (1/8”–1/4”), apply in multiple layers to prevent blistering.
- Do not exceed total joint thickness of 20 mm (3/4”).
Surface Preparation:
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, oxidation, and chemicals.
- Porous substrates (e.g., cast metals) should be pre-baked to remove embedded oils.
- Smooth metal surfaces should be abrasive-blasted to 0.025 mm (0.001”) roughness.
Storage and Handling:
- Store in original containers at ambient temperature.
- After mixing, allow the material to rest in a container with at least twice the volume to accommodate outgassing. Wait up to 24 hours if needed.
- Use within shelf-life as specified by manufacturer.
Compliance:
- RoHS Compliant
- Lead-Free and Halogen-Free
- Non-corrosive, water-based, and safe to handle
