These lamps deliver up to ten times the UV power density of traditional low-pressure mercury lamps and can operate effectively in high ambient temperatures, reaching up to 90°C. Additionally, amalgam lamps are resistant to temperature fluctuations, which improves their performance and durability.
Our unique Noblelight Longlife Technology coating prevents the discoloration and transmission loss typically seen with conventional UV lamps. This ensures that UVC output remains consistently high. While uncoated UV lamps experience a reduction to 50% of their UVC output after 8,000 hours of operation, amalgam lamps with the Longlife Technology coating maintain up to 90% of their UVC output even after 16,000 hours.
As a result, these lamps provide nearly constant disinfection capability throughout their lifespan, leading to significant savings in energy, maintenance, and replacement parts costs.
