The M1568B(J) Magnetron is a high-power X-band microwave tube manufactured by Nisshinbo (formerly NJRC), designed for marine radar applications. It operates at a fixed frequency range of 9380 to 9440 MHz with a peak output power of 25 kW. This model ensures reliable radar signal transmission for long-range maritime navigation and target detection.
It is recommended to replace the magnetron when the radar system experiences weak echoes or the transmitter operation time exceeds 5,000 hours. The magnetron and carbon brushes can be easily replaced by technical staff during standard maintenance procedures.
