LED-Optimized Medical Adhesive for Plastics and Metals Dymax MD 1405-M-UR-SC
MD 1405-M-UR-SC is a high-performance, LED-curable adhesive designed for fast, precise bonding in medical device manufacturing, especially syringes, dialyzers, and infusion systems. The adhesive cures efficiently under 385 nm or 405 nm LED light sources and features a low-viscosity formulation, making it ideal for applications with tight tolerances.
This product incorporates Encompass technology, combining Dymax’s patented See-Cure and Ultra-Red fluorescing technologies. See-Cure provides visual confirmation of adhesive placement and full cure via a color change from blue to colorless. Ultra-Red offers bright red fluorescence under low-intensity black light (365 nm), enabling rapid and reliable post-cure inspection.
Compatible substrates include stainless steel, PC, ABS, PMMA, and FR4. Common applications involve needle bonding, dialyzer assembly, winged infusion set production, and other point-of-care device manufacturing.
