MG5436 Magnetron is a magnetron designed by EEV for marine radar transmitters operating in the X-band. It provides a typical peak output power of 25 kW and operates at a fixed frequency of 9410 MHz ±30 MHz. The cathode is indirectly heated, with a heater voltage of 6.3 V and heater current of approximately 0.5 A. The pre-heating time for the cathode is 60 seconds.
This magnetron is suitable for radar systems that require stable and reliable microwave signal transmission. When radar echo signals become weak or the tuning bar is reduced, users are advised to check the total transmitter (TX) time. If the radar system has exceeded 5,000 hours of operation, replacing the magnetron is necessary to ensure continued performance.
The MG5436 magnetron can be replaced easily by trained technicians, along with routine replacement of carbon brushes. This model is available for global supply, and service support is provided at all major ports in Turkey.
