Multi-Cure 9-20557 ā Light and Heat-Cure Conformal Coating
Dymax Multi-Cure 9-20557 is a UV/Visible light-curable conformal coating engineered for rapid and reliable protection of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sensitive electronic assemblies. With a dual-cure mechanism, the product cures instantly with UV/Visible light and also includes a secondary heat-cure feature to ensure complete curing in shadowed areas.
This medium-viscosity, solvent-free coating is optimized for film thicknesses from 51 Āµm (0.002 in) to 510 Āµm (0.020 in) and is compatible with most spray application equipment. Its low modulus enhances flexibility, making it ideal for applications where thermal shock resistance is essential. Additionally, the coating fluoresces blue under black light to enable quick and reliable quality inspection.
When cured using Dymax spot, beam, or flood UV light systems, 9-20557 delivers fast processing, consistent results, and lower overall production costs.
Certified to MIL-I-46058C and IPC-CC-830-B standards. Fully compliant with RoHS2 Directive 2015/863/EU.
