SpeedMask 707 is a low-viscosity, light- and heat-curable maskant designed for laser drilling protection in turbine components. It offers durable protection for internal cavities, preventing laser beam impingement and reducing spatter during drilling operations.
The resin flows easily into narrow spaces and achieves full-depth cure even in shadowed areas when secondary heat curing is applied. It forms a hard, robust barrier and is easily removed by incineration at temperatures of 650Ā°C [1200Ā°F] or higher.
This 100% organic maskant contains no nonreactive solvents, enabling faster cycle times and lower production costs. When cured with Dymax UV spot lamps, beam lamps, or conveyor systems, it delivers optimal speed and performance.
