SpeedMask 728-G is a light-curable, high-visibility green maskant designed to provide robust surface protection during machining, plating, aggressive grit blasting, shot-peening, and anodizing operations. This product supports the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and surface finishing of metal components used in aerospace engines (e.g., turbines, vanes, blades), orthopedic implants, and other general industrial masking applications.
Formulated as a 100% organic resin, the maskant cures rapidly under UV/Visible light and is easily removed by peeling after a hot-water soak. Its bright green color ensures precise visual placement during application, improving masking accuracy and coverage. Once cured properly, it delivers residue-free removal on non-porous substrates.
Substrate compatibility includes nickel alloys, titanium, stainless steel, steel, aluminum, and glass.
Dymax materials are solvent-free and cure in seconds upon exposure to light. When used with Dymax UV spot lamps, focused beam systems, or flood lamps, they deliver maximum efficiency, reduced production time, and lower processing costs.
