SpeedMask 728-G-LV is a UV/Visible light-curable maskant designed to provide reliable surface protection during acid stripping, plating, machining, buffing, polishing, and aggressive grit-blasting operations. It is optimized for the manufacture and finishing of metal components in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and consumer electronics.
This 100% organic, low-viscosity resin is suitable for spray or dip application, offering ease of processing and excellent surface coverage. It cures rapidly under UV or visible light and can be removed cleanly after processing by soaking in hot water (140Ā°Fā160Ā°F) or using an ultrasonic bath.
The cured maskant provides strong resistance to acids and protects various substrates including nickel alloys, steel, titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum. When cured properly, it leaves no residue on non-porous surfaces.
Dymax materials are solvent-free and cure upon exposure to light. When used with Dymax spot lamps, focused beam systems, flood lamps, or conveyors, they enable rapid processing, increased throughput, and lower production costs. Dymax systems provide the optimal UV and visible spectrum balance for the fastest and deepest cures.
