SpeedMask 733-G-REV-A is a light-curable, high-performance maskant designed to protect metal surfaces and orthopedic implants during thermal barrier coating, aggressive grit blasting, shot peening, and plasma spray processes. The productās fast-curing, thixotropic gel formulation allows for spray application and delivers strong resistance to abrasive blasting media.
Its green color ensures accurate placement and complete coverage prior to curing. As a 100% organic resin, the maskant can be easily removed by incineration in an air furnace at a minimum of 650Ā°C [1200Ā°F]. Recommended substrates include nickel alloys, superalloys, titanium, cobalt chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, and steel.
Dymax materials are solvent-free and cure upon exposure to light, enabling faster production, higher throughput, and reduced processing costs. When paired with Dymax UV-curing systemsāsuch as spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyorsāthey provide optimal curing speed and depth.
