SpeedMask 750 is a UV/Visible light-curable maskant designed to withstand high-temperature thermal spray coatings, including plasma spray, HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel), and aggressive grit blasting. With excellent resilience to blasting media, it ensures superior surface protection of metal components, including orthopedic implants.
The productās bright pink color enables easy visual confirmation of accurate application before curing. Once exposed to light, it cures tack-free into a hard, durable coating.
Removal options:
- Incineration at ā„650Ā°C [1200Ā°F]
- Warm water (ā„60Ā°C) or warm air exposure to soften the maskant for easy peeling
Recommended surfaces: Nickel alloys, titanium alloys, cobalt chrome
Dymax materials are solvent-free and cure in seconds under UV/Visible light, enabling faster production, greater throughput, and lower processing costs. Curing is optimized when using Dymaxās UV light-curing systems, including spot, beam, and flood lamps or conveyors.
