SpeedMask 7701 is a UV/Visible light-curable maskant formulated to provide reliable surface protection during plating, decorative etching, anodizing, blasting, and powder-coating processes. With moderate adhesion and high-temperature resistance (up to 204Ā°C [400Ā°F]), it ensures protection and performance in demanding environments.
The maskant can be sprayed or dipped and cures rapidly upon light exposure. After processing, it is easily peeled off, and a hot-water soak may be used to simplify removal. Properly cured, the maskant leaves no residue on non-porous surfaces.

- Plating and anodizing
- Powder coating
- Shot peening and grit blasting
- Handling protection during processing
Recommended substrates: Nickel alloys, stainless steel, steel, aluminum, titanium, cobalt, and glass.
