Designed for demanding fluorescence microscopy applications, NOVEM features nine fast-switching wavelengths spanning from Fura-2 excitation through visible and into IR800, providing unmatched versatility across the UV–Visible–NIR spectrum.
Powered by the patented LaserLED Hybrid Drive technology, X-Cite NOVEM seamlessly overcomes the traditional LED “green gap” in the 500–600 nm range, delivering high excitation power without sacrificing spectral continuity. With nine independently controllable LED channels, X-Cite NOVEM rivals arc lamps in brightness while offering the advantages of LED illumination. Reduced sample exposure and faster scanning translate into improved image quality, higher throughput, and enhanced productivity. Each channel can be adjusted independently in 1% intensity increments, ensuring precise control, excellent uniformity, and long-term stability.
Unique to X-Cite NOVEM is its true UV-to-IR spectral coverage. Researchers can perform ratiometric calcium imaging using 340/385 nm LEDs (Fura-2), achieve powerful excitation for Cy7, and, for the first time, reliably image IR800 and other emerging far-red fluorophores—all within a single illumination platform.
